Phantom mice and the battle of wills

Categorized Under: Uncategorized one Commented

A couple of weeks ago, I went to pull a towel out of the bathroom cabinet under the sink.  Normally, that’s not something I’d really write about, except THIS TIME.  THIS TIME a mouse took the liberty of using my cabinet space for it’s own…needs.  So, after much cleaning up and washing of things, I decide the little mouse really needs to…not live with me.  I’m super picky about roommates/housemates and I’ve always been very clear on where I stand in regards to my expectations about bathroom habits.  So, we set up a mouse trap.  With peanut butter, because APPARENTLY all mice (excluding this one) like peanut butter.  The peanut butter is still there, the trap is still open and I have no clue if the mouse is still here, or it just thought to stop by for the holidays. Nonetheless, I put some goodies on the floor, hoping the entice the little guy - and partially because I think peanut butter is really a lame offering if you’re going to snap someone’s appendage off…and NOTHING.  He had a chance to go through fudge and cookies and Lorelei’s snack mix…and nothing.

We’ve decided it’s a phantom mouse - one that may or may not be anorexic.

In other non-rodent news:

I was afraid that Lorelei was the only 2 1/2 year old that didn’t know her colors and ABCs - turns out she’s stubborn like me and we’re now playing a battle of the wills.   She KNOWS so much, she just doesn’t want to cooperate.  Well, at least that explains it…

Happy New Year everyone!

    Hi Boss Sanders,

Yes, it’s tricky dealing with the little things. Especially as they’re actually kinda cute.

I had a mouse in my house. Made a guide to catching mice with a difference here on my new blog “www.BobVersus.com”.

    1 man. 1 mouse (hopefully!).

3 attempts to catch the mouse.
