A Simple Woman’s Daybook for today…Monday, August 3, 2009

Outside my window…It’s dark with a yard that really needs to be mowed!

I am thinking…that in 5 years, we could be debt free…except for the house!  And, that’s exciting!

I am thankful…for my generous and thoughtful family and friends.  These are the people who constantly are looking for ways to help and lift us up.  They never leave me wondering how much they love me!  I’m thankful for a merciful God and for my awesome little girls and husband.  And, for my new job and “activities”!  I just feel so blessed!

From the kitchen…tonight we had a boxed frozen lasagna (Well, it wasn’t frozen when we ate it!).  Bleh.  But, it was in the freezer and we didn’t want to buy many groceries!

From the learning rooms…Lorelei has been practicing her ABCs …also, pretending to make food and take care of babies.  Oh, and she’s been into drawing a lot lately too!

I am creating…well, I’ve been working on the banquet a lot lately … that, and cooking for Pampered Chef.

I am wearing…a blanket.

I am reading…a Pampered Chef book that tells the tales of its beginnings, and  Having a Mary Spirit

I am hoping…to be really efficient with my time tomorrow and get lots done with work.  Also, I am hoping to get my other 2 credit cards paid off this month!

I am hearing…the whir of my computer.

Around the house…is one big mess from us packing then sort of unpacking just to pack up again.  I don’t even feel like it’s worth cleaning up until we’re home for a longer period of time.

One of my favorite things…quality time with my husband…which is very rare these days!

I am going…to visit my parents again soon (poor them, just can’t seem to get rid of us!) – and then to Florida in a bit

A few plans for the rest of the week…Today, I was a guest on a radio show, tomorrow is mowing and washing day, Wed is work, Thursday is work and a Pampered Chef party, Friday is…suddenly clear, Saturday is a picnic, and Sunday is church!
