I’m super excited to make an announcement this morning – in fact, I’m SO excited that I actually got up at 7am this morning which should really mean something because that never happens. Ever. Whole Foods Market has just released the beginning of their series of podcasts this month, and their focus?

Pregnancy and Baby (oh, heck yes!)

From now until March 30th, they’re offering MY READERS an incentive to listen and provide feedback to their Whole Baby Podcasts covering: Natural Baby Body Care, Pregnancy – A Time to Go Natural, and Organics for Baby, Beyond Food.

So, why am I so excited? Because I have recently teamed up with them to offer one awesome reader (because you are all so awesome) a bag full of goodies just for participating!

Hah. Now I’m going to have to go to whole foods today. YAY CHEESE. LOL. (My hubby will NOT be thrilled. Oh well!)

Oh yeah – I listened to the podcasts and commented too. Hence the need to go shop now. Some people clean when nesting, I shop. It is what it is.

I agree with you in the pod cast that the term “natural” gets thrown around too much and there needs to be easier and stricter rules for how to use this term. I want “real” natural products. Thanks and I will go to whole foods for my baby products form now on, theres one by my work!

I was surprised at finding so much baby clothing at Whole Foods!

Too true that in this day and age man-made chemicals are in EVERYTHING even if it wasn’t intended to be! It’s in the air we breath, the food we eat, and in the ground we walk on. I can’t tell you how often in my neighborhood you witness people dumping their unwanted beverages, containers, oils, and outright toxic lawn/pesticide chemicals over everything.

My husband and I are going to try fertilizing with bottled worm feces (after I finish weeding the yard!) in the next day or so. Should be interesting.

Wow, what an eye opening educational experience I just had by viewing the Natural Baby Body Care video over at Whole Foods Market’s website. I left a comment and here is the link to it:

I am so shocked at what I learned today about conventional cotton and all the harmful pesticides that are contained in conventional cotton. It scared me silly because I have a beautiful 6 month baby daughter who is wearing brand new conventional cotton onsies and now I am going to throw them all away! I am mortified that she is wearing pesticides on her delicate gentle skin, Yikes! Thank you so, so much for bringing this very informative, education video to my attention. I appreciate it more than you will ever know!! You are the best!
