He was over two years before he started talking but then it was just BAM! a mile a minute. Granted he ended up in speech therapy, but that was thanks to mine and his father's bad habit of baby talk until we realized he had come to think that was appropriate speech then he couldn't distinguish between key sounds. Now? Straight "E's" and over a full reading level above his grade expectation. I'm sure L will be great when she gets past the hesitations. :) Xavier was REALLY slow on talking.
