One of my daughters only wants to cuddle on her own terms too. I understood that phrase. She has been like that since she was a toddler.

Awww…that’s so cute.

I do the same with that song. The lyrics change based on whether my kids are actually sleepy or Mommy’s mad. :O) I’ve been overheard singing, “Hush little William shut your mouth…”

Amazing how they can change your whole train of thought! I come home in a bad mood from a hard day at work and all that stress dissappears until the next day as soon as my little guy runs up and wants me to pick him up. Very cute story!
