I know it’s been like F-O-R-E-V-E-R since I’ve been on here…or, at least that’s how it feels. But, to be honest…well…my mind has been going nonstop - way too fast to even put into words. And, I’m letting myself off the hook in regards to answering comments on my blog, so please forgive me. I’ll start back up soon, I swear. I appreciate them all, and I read them all…and they all mean so much to me. I’ve just been running myself ragged, I guess.
I feel like there is a lot that’s “new” with me - but, I’m having trouble coming up with coherent sentences, much less flowing paragraphs. So, we’re doing this list style.
1. A lot of stuff is undergoing some change - for the better - in my life. My marriage. My relationships. Me. My goals. My talents. My thought processes. My health. I’ll explain some of this in detail below…and the rest later.
2. I’ve started a new journey. A spiritual one, so to speak, and I’ve found so many things. It really is wonderful. I’m not going to write about them now (although I reserve the right to, later if it should strike me), but right now…yeh. My brain is ready for sleep!
3. My health. After a year of pestering my doctors and them giving me the whole “we don’t know why this is what it is. Just take this pill.” and not trying to find the root of a medical problem I have, I’ve taken into my own hands. No worries, it’s nothing life threatening (although serious…to ME). I just don’t like covering up things with pills! So, after much studying and asking different experts in different fields, I’m setting out to find my very own cure.
4. I feel very much emotionally spent right now. I really don’t know how single parents do it. Watching a toddler 24 hours/7 days a week non stop and with little to no adult interaction and no “breaks” from hubs when he gets home (bc he’s kind of busy…in Georgia.)
5. Can I tell you how much I love alternative medicines sometimes? Thanks to all natural baby vitamins, L is now eating normally again and feeling lots better!
6. I want to thank everyone who reads me and has joined my lilaguide group to help me out! I’m that much closer to being able to get my vehicle fixed (which comes in handy for things like doctor’s appts, errands, going grocery shopping, emergencies…you name it!). I’ll be holding the cool prize drawing in August, but I’ll put the winners on here, too!
Oh…and if you want to know what the heck I’m talking about…I was challenged to get 600 members for this free little group on Lila Guide.com My group is only a small group on this site, but the whole thing is free. I need 600 members, guys/gals/whatever. You just need to breathe and have an email address. ACTUALLY, you just need an email address. Breathing is optional. You click a couple of things and spend a total of 3 minutes (or less) signing up and then join my group. You never have to go back to that site ever again if you don’t want to. As long as you are a member, regardless of how active you are or aren’t…you still count.
And, of course, I’m holding a nice giveaway afterwards for all of my members!
Here’s the link for the group if you wanna be wonderful ;) : http://www.lilaguide.com/Groups/parents.aspx
If you are not a member of Lila Guide.com, it’ll prompt you to join first, and you’ll have to reclick the link and press the button that says “Join this group”…and then after another click you’ll be home free.
7. I’ve decided to begin writing again. And, I’m super excited about it. I’ve been given the chance to author some articles in a couple of different places (besides my blogs) and I’m kinda stoked. Not kinda. VERY.
8. Am I still making any sense?
9. I have the weirdest appetite right now. I’m hungry but nothing sounds good. Except Garden Gate Cafe’s potato soup. Yum. But, that’s out of the question.
10. Oh. And, I really want chocolate. Like…now!
I'd love it if you stalked me (subscribe to my RSS feed). Thanks for visiting!

Wow! That definitely is a bunch of stuff!
I’m totally with you about alternative medicine. If there’s something natural, try it!
Where is he working?? Close to us? Are you & Lorelei coming to town??
And did I join Lilaguide? I have no bookmarks or anything anymore, so I have no clue…

Thanks for the lowdown on where you’ve been. I feel very lucky that you’ve managed to pop in on my blog and read.
Don’t feel any pressure or guilt on the blogging side of things. I know too well what it’s like to need some space…no matter how short or long the break. It’s a wonderful thing!
Things sound pretty half and half right now. Here’s hoping for some more good!

hi ash,
“blog without guilt.” write, read, comment whenever you feel like it. no guilt. it is a pleasure, not an obligation. i can’t read all the blogs i want to all the time, but i sure do enjoy myself when i catch up on some of my favorites.
you sound like you are getting more comfy with who YOU are. that’s a good thing.
peace sister, kathleen
