The dress…

This dress turns out to be quite convertible. I can wear it long with the shoulders up for church, scrunch it up for dancing (or clubbing - had we one that was worth going to around here), and wear it draped on one shoulder - or not - or, tuck the sleeves into themselves and it has more of a sleeveless appearance.

Versatile. And made of jersey. It’s like the most comfortable dress, ever. (And, it so does not wrinkle)

Ohh I like the color. The back is fantastic. I like the second one too.

    Good job!

Thank you :) It’s all the same dress…

  2. Kim Says:

The fact that you were able to make something at all is enough in my eyes.. I can’t sew anything without attaching a limb.

    I love the color.

And let me hear you need to work out more one more time and I may kick you. :)

Dude. I need to work out to build muscle. I have the muscle required to breathe and live and that’s about it. I need to be able to run up stairs and after a 1 year old and not feel like my head and heart are about to explode…simultaneously!

  3. Michele Says:

Not bad. I can’t see any problems. Great job!

I have to sew tonight now. I have to make a garter for prom. I was just informed that she HAD to have one. Too late to order one now. Don’t you just love teenagers?

Hmm…So many thoughts and yet lost for words. Weird Combo.

  6. Jen2 Says:

“Oh my word! Was she showing her WHOLE back in that picture??? How risque!?”

I’m just playing. You look freaking hot. Yep, I said it. If only I could pull off a dress like that. :D

lol thanks. I had the option of making it almost backless. But, that would’ve required more work. Or, it was supposed to.

  7. Nissa Says:

Love it! You just wanted to flaunt your hot self, right?! ;)

That is an awesome dress, too! You MADE this??

Haha thanks. :) I did make it. :)

  8. Elexis Says:

It’s hot! I don’t know if you can get away with it at church it’s so hot! Great job. Did you have a tutorial or pattern for that?

I used a tutorial online. Email me if you want it :)

  9. Tim Kissane Says:

You may have inspired me to return to church. It’s gonna be a long drive to Kentucky every Sunday, but *so worth it if you’ll be wearing that dress!

Yes, well…I’ve since retracted the church statement. I got a lot of comments letting me know it would be VERY inappropriate . Haha.
