My grandmother also has a garden and she usually plants jalapeno peppers for Steven (his favorite)...but if not...those are pretty cheap. My mom picked up the one habanero pepper (along with the other already sprouts that you saw). I started with just seeds...but she was convinced nothing would grow. I have this legacy around here...and it's not from having a green thumb. I'm working on it tho ... Haha ONE habanero.
