Finally…the long awaited update…

I can’t tell you how long this past week has been for me. Each day for 7 days was supposed to be THE MEETING with the bossman…and for one reason or another…it didn’t happen.

Today was the end of all that (Thank God).

I will tell you that the bossman was kind and he made an offer which was the best he could do at the moment. It was an offer that paled in comparison to what had originally been promised - but, seeing as how he didn’t do the original promising and the guy who did has been canned…well, you get the picture. However, he did say that once the business picked up speed a bit and launched their product, he’d be handing out raises like candy (my words, not his).

So, to say it plainly: We got a raise. It’s enough to buy groceries, and hopefully soon, the rest will come. But, for now…this will work. We can make this work.
