In Steady beats
Gathering tears
At my feet
Rising silently
‘Til I can barely breathe
Still waters covering me
Clouding my eyes
Pressing down on me
My heart aches
And barely beats
Sinking deeper
Into the void
Until darkness speaks
And drowns out
All light
